To celebrate the centenary of
the apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima, EWTN have produced an eight episode
docudrama series "The Message of Fatima". Filmed last year mainly in
Fatima, and also in a London studio. We have engaged some up and coming Catholic actresses
and actors to play all the main parts, Our Lady of Fatima, The Three Little Shepherds,
The Angel, Sr Lucia etc.
Our aim was to make one of the most comprehensive film
series on Fatima yet produced. The first episode "The Angel of Peace"
will be broadcast on May 10 and is mainly dedicated to the apparitions of the
Angel in 1916 and also looks at the people of Fatima in the early part of the
century.
The second episode "The
First Apparition of Our Lady of Fatima" is dedicated to the apparition of
Our Lady and will be broadcast on the 13 of May. We also explore the theological context of the
message.
The subsequent apparitions are given their own episodes and will be
broadcast on the centenary date throughout the Summer and Autumn of 1917, There
will also be a special on the First Saturday Devotion.
The Fatima Hymn adaptation is by Adam Tucker. Adam is also the composer of the soundtrack for the series.
The Fatima Hymn is sung by the soprano Lynne Lee with the choirs of the Dome of Home (Ss Peter, Paul and St Philomena New Brighton) and Bel Canto.

In Search of Christendom: The Chartres Pilgrimage DVD
A film by Stefano Mazzeo for EWTN.
Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris draws thousands of young people for a Traditional Latin Mass on the vigil of Pentecost. Spiritually fortified, they set out on a three-day walking pilgrimage to Notre Dame de Chartres Cathedral.
If you doubt that Christianity is still alive in Western Europe, this is a special EWTN Documentary to see - and share.
An EWTN film by Stefano Mazzeo, produced in association with the Latin Mass Society.
The first steps Christianity took on Welsh soil eventually led the country into an age of great prosperity - but it was a path not easily won.
EWTN unfurls this rich tapestry of Wales' Catholic history in an original three part documentary filmed on-location throughout Europe, weaving an inspiring faith legacy of prosperity and persecution that unites Catholics everywhere.

Special thanks to assistant director Tony Plumridge and costume designer Ellen Plumridge at Triptych Productions, and production coordinator David Benjamin at the "Crusade" re-enactment group for providing the live action sequences.
