BEAUTY, FAITH,
TRADITION, a story worth living
A devout Traditional Catholic girl at Oxford University
is the target of a wager by an extremely rich fellow student to win her on his
terms.
A Catholic updating and homage to Jane Austen's Pride
and Prejudice
The Catholic Girl is the story of a devout,
home-educated Cornish girl, Sophie Pasco, from a large Traditional Catholic
family, who goes to Oxford University, where many students have a very
different, sometimes amoral outlook on life. There she meets the proud,
extremely rich James Brandale, who takes an instant dislike to her and her
faith. He accepts an evil wager from a friend and bets his Ferrari that he can
seduce this Catholic girl by the end of the academic year.
Who will win: the Faith or the World?
“This is an exciting novel about faith, love, and
loyalty to the teachings of the Church, and it is also excellent catechesis for
young orthodox Catholics, showing the way to true love and happiness to all
they meet, this book will fortify them.” Bishop Athanasius Schneider.
